Sports tickets to see the Wing Bowl have been a part of the eating sports fan's diet since the mid nineties. WIP radio host Al Morganti thought of the idea when he realized that his beloved Philadelphia Eagles would not be in the Super Bowl for a long time to come. Professional eaters, members of the International Federation of Competitive Eating ( IFOCE) will attend the event, and usually do quite well, with IFOCE member Joey Chestnut winning the 2006 Wing Bowl.
