The Magpies shocked the Americana scene when they (then known as Hoover and the Whiskeyhounds) came out with their first two albums Golden Gloves and Panic Blues. Since then, bandmates Chris Yohn (bass, violin), Dave McKean (drums, vocals), Roger Hoover (vocals, guitar, banjo) and Justin Gorski (piano, organ, accordion, vocals) have sprayed their instrumental sound waves onto throngs of screaming fans, garnering incredible fame in the process.
